English First Additional Language is structured around three papers. Paper 1 covers comprehension, summary, and language structures. Paper 2 is the literature section based on the prescribed novel, drama, and poetry. Paper 3 focuses on creative and transactional writing. The comprehension section expects short, precise answers drawn from the text — copying full sentences wastes time and earns no credit. For the summary, sticking to the word limit while keeping the key ideas intact is a skill worth practising. Past papers help you get used to the timing and show which types of questions come up most often in each section.
