Real Business, Real Questions
Business Studies looks at how companies operate in South Africa. The Grade 10 syllabus covers the business environment, management functions, entrepreneurship, and relevant legislation. Exam questions fall into three types: direct recall (definitions and features), application (given a scenario, what would you do?), and case studies with longer responses. The trick is that examiners want business terminology — using words like “stakeholders,” “organisational structure,” and “code of ethics” correctly lifts your answers. Past papers show how the same legal and management concepts get tested through different mini-case studies each year.
